One Piece has returned to its regular release schedule following a brief hiatus!

The world's most beloved pirate adventure series has dominated the high seas and airwaves since it first debuted in 1999, spanning over 1,000 episodes.

Based on Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga of the same name, it follows protagonist Luffy as he aims to become the Pirate King. More than two decades into the journey, the series shows no sign of throwing down its anchor.

The continued demand for One Piece has spiralled into the creation of it being the next anime to be adapted for live-action. Netflix is handling the project, so hopefully the streamer has learned lessons from its botched Cowboy Bebop remake.

For now, we're sticking with the original – read on for everything you need to know about the release schedule of One Piece season 20.
