No.9 seed Luca Brecel reached his first World Snooker Championship final after defeating breakout star Si Jiahui in a mesmerising semi-final, and is currently out in the lead ahead of his opponent Mark Selby heading into Monday's match.

However, don't count Selby out just yet - he has done this all before, with four world titles to his name, and his confident, patient victory over one-year ranking leader Mark Allen in the semi-final shows what he can do.

He also created history yesterday as the first player to make a maximum 147 break in a World Championship final - even if it wasn't enough to put him in the lead.

Reigning champion O'Sullivan was halted by Brecel in his attempt to win an unprecedented eighth world title, while John Higgins who shone in the early rounds, was stopped by Selby.

Fans across the country and the world will be determined to catch the remainder of the tournament on TV, especially considering the array of top talents left in the draw.
