The second semi-final played out yesterday (Saturday 1st April) in epic fashion, with Shaun Murphy going against Mark Selby for the remaining place in today's final.
Murphy emerged victorious after a nail-biting clash and will go up against Kyren Wilson in the final.
Wilson toppled Ding Junhui in Friday's semi-final, earning himself a deserved place in the final showdown.
This year's event in Hull has been without a number of high-profile players including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, last year's champion Neil Robertson and last year's runner-up John Higgins but it's still been packed with big names including Selby, Murphy and Mark Allen.
