"Barbie fever" has well and truly been sweeping the nation, with Greta Gerwig's movie based on the world's most popular doll continuing to smash several box office records, including becoming the most commercially successful film by a female director.

Barbie's success can be attributed to the film's huge marketing campaign, its feminist premise and its stellar cast, which features Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Emma Mackey, Issa Rae, Ncuti Gatwa, and more.

However, a lot of the hype around Barbie is also thanks to it's amazing soundtrack, which was first announced back in June, and features an amazing collection of artists, including HAIM, Sam Smith, Tame Impala, Charli XCX and Dominic Fike.

Gosling also joins the line-up of soundtrack artists with an original song performed by his character, Ken.

So, without further ado, read on for everything you need to know about the Barbie movie soundtrack.

Does Ryan Gosling actually sing in Barbie?

In case you were wondering, it is actually Gosling's voice you can hear during I’m Just Ken.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Mark Ronson, who executively produced the soundtrack, said of Gosling's singing talents: "He really got [that] it had to walk this line of not being funny or parody. But, obviously, the song is also kind of ridiculous at times."

He added: "So he was really amazing, and when he really did start hitting the big notes, I was like, this dude is a vocal powerhouse!”
