Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

A stonking voice cast lends appeal to this technically ambitious Disney comedy that blends various animation styles with live action. John Mulaney and Andy Samberg provide the voices of chipmunks Chip and Dale, feuding best pals who are forced to overcome their differences when former colleague Monterey Jack (Eric Bana) goes missing. JK Simmons is plasticine police captain Putty, Seth Rogen an "uncanny valley" henchman, KiKi Layne appears in person, but Will Arnett steals the show as a Tony Soprano-esque version of Peter Pan who is the villain of the piece. The story isn't exactly inspired, but there's a smattering of half-decent gags, while raiding Disney's back catalogue for peripheral players injects some fun along the way.
