Meet the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer
The Netflix series brings Michael Connelly's characters to the screen.
The first half of The Lincoln Lawyer dropped last month and left things on a shocking cliffhanger for our Hotshot LA defence attorney Mickey Haller.
Mickey is played in this adaptation of Michael Connelly's books by Manuel García-Rulfo, while he was previously played in the 2011 film by Matthew McConaughey.
Season 2 of the Netflix adaptation is based of the fourth book in Michael Connelly’s series of novels, The Fifth Witness, which sees the defence attorney tasked with proving the innocence of client and alleged murderer Lisa Trammell (Lana Parrilla).
The first season proved hugely popular with Netflix subscribers and the first half of the new season also jumped to the top of the streamer's top 10 charts.
García-Rulfo previously teased what fans could expect from Mickey in this second season, telling Netflix that his newfound fame and success "has its good side and its bad side".
He continued: "He's got this mojo back and his confidence back and all that, but I think that success brings a lot of bad stuff as well if you don't know how to handle it — and I think he wasn't ready for it.”
The series also once again stars Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Angus Sampson and Jazz Raycole, but who else appears in the show and who do they all play?

Who's in the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer?
Manuel García-Rulfo as Mickey Haller
Who is Mickey Haller? Mickey is an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln SUV in The Lincoln Lawyer. He takes on cases big and small across Los Angeles. He has two ex-wives with whom he is still close and relies on his client-turned-driver Izzy to chauffeur him around.
Where have I seen Manuel García-Rulfo before? García-Rulfo has been in a wide range of hit films, including Murder on the Orient Express, The Magnificent Seven, Widows and Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado. He has also had TV roles in shows including Goliath.
Talking about what it was like to play his character Haller, García-Rulfo told ComingSoon.net: "We find him at the beginning in the lowest part of his life, and then he’s climbing. I can’t say much, but yeah, it was such a pleasure playing Mickey Haller, a character that is loved by so many. To be part of Michael Connelly’s world. It was such a pleasure.
"I mean, Mickey Haller is one of those characters that... he’s larger than life. So lots of collars and very complex, and vulnerable. So it was beautiful. It was really cool to play him."
Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson
Who is Maggie McPherson? Maggie is deputy district attorney, and is also Mickey’s first ex-wife and mother of his daughter, Haley. She deeply believes in the justice system, which occasionally puts her at odds with Mickey’s perspective. The pair got divorced because Mickey lost himself in his work, but there are still sparks between them.
Where have I seen Neve Campbell before? Campbell is perhaps best known for her role as Sidney Prescott in the Scream franchise, but is also famous for playing Leann Harvey in House of Cards.
Yaya DaCosta as Andrea Freemann
Who is Andrea Freemann? A prosecutor and Haller’s courtroom rival, who is also a pal of his ex-wife Maggie (Campbell).
Where have I seen Yaya DaCosta before? TV credits include Chicago Med, Chicago P.D. and Fox's Our Kind of People. DaCosta also played music superstar Whitney Houston in Lifetime's Whitney (2015).
Lana Parrilla as Lisa Trammell
Who is Lisa Trammell? Haller's client in season 2, who is a chef struggling to keep her restaurant afloat as a real estate developer threatens the neighbourhood around her.
Where have I seen Lana Parilla before? You might recognise Parilla from Why Women Kill and Once Upon a Time.
Becki Newton as Lorna
Who is Lorna? Lorna is Mickey's second ex-wife, as well as his office manager and paralegal of sorts. She's now engaged to Cisco.
Where have I seen Becki Newton before? Newton played Barney's one-time fiancée Quinn in How I Met Your Mother and played Amanda in Ugly Betty.
Jazz Raycole as Izzy
Who is Izzy? Izzy is originally one of Mickey’s clients, but when she doesn’t have enough money to pay for his services he offers her a job as his personal driver.
Where have I seen Jazz Raycole before? Raycole has had roles in Jericho, The Quad and Everybody Hates Chris amongst other TV projects.
Angus Sampson as Cisco
Who is Cisco? Cisco is Mickey’s key investigator and Lorna’s fiancé. He’s a former biker gang member with street smarts and LAPD connections.
Where have I seen Angus Sampson before? Sampson has appeared in the second season of Fargo, Mad Max: Fury Road and Insidious, as well as recently appearing in Taika Waititi's pirate comedy Our Flag Means Death.

Who else stars in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2?
The season 2 cast is rounded out by newcomers Matt Angel as podcaster Henry Dahl, David Clayton Rogers in an undisclosed role, Angélica María as Mickey's mother and Elliott Gould as David ‘Legal’ Siegel.
