There's plenty of new content arriving on Disney Plus this July, with more Secret Invasion episodes landing on the streamer.

Fans can also look forward to Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, a new action-packed animated sci-fi anthology offering ten futuristic visions from Africa, in addition to a host of new shark documentaries and specials that continue Disney's SharkFest celebrations.

As well as fresh original content, a bunch of older movies and shows are releasing onto the platform in July, including cartoon films Aquamania (1961) and Bath Day (1946).

Also to look forward to at the end of July is a new The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse special, Steamboat Silly, in which Mickey accidentally brings his old home movies to life. Naturally, chaos ensues as a myriad of Mickeys run wild.

And that's not all, with new episodes of series such as The Kardashians set to come to the platform.

Best June 2023 releases on Disney Plus

June was a big month for Disney Plus, with new Marvel series Secret Invasion premiering on the platform, while Avatar: The Way of Water also landed of the streamer, fresh from its cinematic run.

There was also the arrival of The Full Monty, the series follow-up to the 1997 film, as well as Drake-produced drama series Saint X.

That's not to mention new episodes of series such as The Kardashians, American Dad, True Lies, Will Trent and 9-1-1, which dropped throughout the month.

  • Avatar: The Way of Water James Cameron's epic adventure sequel finds Jake Sully and his family meeting a tribe of water Na'vi.
  • Saint X Drake has executive produced this drama based on the novel of the same name, about how the murder of a young woman on holiday in the Caribbean leads her younger sister on a dangerous search for the truth 20 years later.
  • Killing Eve season 2 Second season of the hit BBC thriller series starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer.
  • Flamin' Hot Biographical comedy-drama film directed by Eva Longoria about Richard Montañez, the man who claimed to have invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos.
  • Love Trip: Paris Romantic film about four American women who move to Paris to find love.
  • The Zone: Survival Mission season 2 South Korean gameshow in which the cast are put into survival themed simulations.
  • Farm Rebellion German documentary series about a former investment banker who is now a farmer, testing a radical new type of agriculture in the fight against climate change.
  • Search Turkish drama about an unhappy woman who uncovers the secrets of a cult as she searches for her friend who has disappeared.

May was also a big month for Disney Plus, with the debut of historical drama A Small Light, music documentary Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All and The Muppets Mayhem.

There was also the arrival of Rye Lane, Star Wars: Visions volume 2, Not Dead Yet, Crater, American Born Chinese and the latest batch of episodes from school comedy Abbott Elementary.

  • Rye Lane Romantic comedy film about two young people who connect over the course of an eventful day in South London.
  • Star Wars: Visions volume 2 New season of the Star Wars animated anthology put together by different animation houses.
  • The Muppets Mayhem New Muppets series following The Electric Mayhem Band as they go on a journey to record their first-ever studio album.
  • Not Dead Yet Sitcom starring Gina Rodriguez as a news reporter who starts to see the ghosts of the people whose obituaries she's covering.
  • Crater Sci-fi film about a boy raised on a lunar colony who goes on a journey to explore a mysterious crater with his three best friends and a new arrival from Earth.
  • Abbott Elementary season 2 part 2 A new batch of episodes from the school comedy's second season.
  • American Born Chinese Action comedy series starring Michelle Yeoh, based on the graphic novel of the same name about a high school student who become involved in a battle between gods of Chinese mythology.
